
Safe Sports Network keeps our student athletes healthy and at peak performance!
The Safe Sports Network is a free service for the student athletes of Greater Manchester, offering evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Our staff is comprised of licensed athletic trainers who, along with the community's top sports medicine physicians, keep our student athletes healthy and at peak performance.
The Safe Sports Network strives to promote a safer sports environment through injury awareness, prevention, treatment, education, sporting event coverage, and our afternoon walk-in clinic.

Safe Sports Network
services are provided under the supervision of our medical director, James Vailas, MD. Dr. Vailas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with The Orthopedic Center (TOC). He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH, and completed his residency at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Vailas also completed a sports medicine fellowship at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is recognized for his expertise in sports medicine and serves as medical director for the Manchester Monarchs, Wolves and Millrats sports teams.
