Directions

Brandt Capone, MPT

Education: BS, Biology, Notre Dame College, 1988; Master's in Physical Therapy, 2002
Experience: Has received extensive training in spinal manipulation and mobilization and has training in golf performance enhancement; developed Physical Golf, a comprehensive golf-specific rehabilitation and fitness program; currently specializes in movement analysis and sport-specific performance enhancement training.

Laura M. Selmer, PTA

Education: Associate's Degree in Science, Hesser College, 2001
Experience: Received Academic Achievement Awards in modalities and kinesiology and an Excellence in Clinical Education Award while in school; ten years of experience in healthcare and human services.

Lizz Ramirez, PTA

Education: Associate's Degree in Science, Hesser College, 2006
Experience: Received an award in kinesiology while in school; has experience in aquatic therapy, cardiopulmonary and inpatient rehabilitation; is fluent in Spanish.

Shannon Astin, PT

Education: BS in Biology, Master's in Physical Therapy; Notre Dame College
Experience: Has worked in outpatient orthopedic settings in small private practices and hospital-based clinics as well as skilled nursing facilities; has experience with organizing and developing an aqua therapy program for all ages.

Lynn Heller, OTR, CHT

Director
Education: BS, Occupational Therapy, Florida International University, 1987
Experience: Interned with founding members of the American Society of Hand Therapists; has extensive knowledge of thermoplastic splinting and acute upper extremity rehabilitation; developed hand specialty program at HealthSouth in Nashua; currently serves as director of Apple Therapy Nashua, where she treats patients, provides education for colleagues and employers, and offers free community clinics.

Meryl Smith, DPT

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Allied Health, 2005; Doctorate of Physical Therapy, 2007, Simmons College
Experience: Has worked in outpatient orthopedics, acute care and short-term rehabilitation settings; has researched the effects of nicotine on healing and preventing ACL injuries in female athletes; enjoys using her knowledge to provide care and education to her patients.

John Moran, OTR

Education: Graduate, University of New England Occupational Therapy Program, 1997
Experience: Worked with patients at Southern Maine Medical Center in the outpatient hand clinic as well as in the "Work Well" Occupational Medicine Program; has been in private practice in the greater Nashua area for over four years; focuses on evaluation and treatment of upper extremity injuries and industrial rehabilitation.
