We are pleased to introduce our newest Apple Therapy Services location in Amherst/Milford. We are accepting new patients for physical, occupational and hand therapy. We are excited to announce that our director, Karin Biskovich, is now trained in the Graston Technique®, a new way to treat soft tissue dysfunction. The Graston Technique uses stainless steel instruments to detect “scar tissue” or adhesions in muscles, tendons, or ligaments that can cause restriction or pain. These instruments are used to release the fibrous tissue therefore re-aligning the fibers. The Graston Technique is combined with stretching and strengthening to restore the strength and flexibility of healthy tissue.
